ALA is an 8-week leadership development program for highly sought after NCOs who have been in for an average of 10+ years. These NCOs are the ones who are looked up to and respected by our younger Airmen and their peers - who may benefit from some "fine tuning." This is a peer learning environment and the course takes a relaxed approach with facilitated group discussions across multiple AFSCs to address common problems in the AF culture.
Because this course is not a form of PME or AETC directed, it allows for more current event examples and local cultural issues to be discussed.
